The Manatee Literacy Council is excited to introduce Joane Thessa E. Belony, who has recently joined the team as our new Office Administrator. Joane brings a wealth of experience and a passion for education, and we are thrilled to have her on board.

Originally from Haiti, Joane has always had a strong commitment to helping others and fostering literacy. Before joining the Manatee Literacy Council, she worked with organizations such as World Vision International Haiti, Centre Muse Haïti, and Centre Kaizen. In these roles, she gained valuable skills and developed a deep appreciation for the transformative power of literacy. Joane holds a Master of Business Administration from Université de Montpellier in France, which further enhances her ability to contribute to our mission.

Outside of work, Joane enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, and relaxing. She is always seeking new ways to stay connected with the community. Joane looks forward to meeting everyone and building relationships within the Council, and encourages anyone to reach out and say hello. We are excited to see the great work she will do in her new role and can’t wait for the positive impact she will have on our programs and the community.
