Other Ways To Volunteer

Train the trainers. Previous tutor training experience required.
Help increase awareness of Manatee Literacy Council through community relations, partnerships, and outreach, including traditional and social media.
Work with the Executive Director and Program Coordinator to enhance and expand programs offered.
The more students are engaged, the higher their rate of success in our literacy programs. Volunteers can start conversation clubs and plan student events.
Help Manatee Literacy Council keep our digital records up to date by entering data. Computer-savvy volunteers are always needed for IT support.
