Manatee Literacy Council Receives Grant to Boost Adult English Language Learning Programs
The Manatee Literacy Council is thrilled to announce a generous grant from the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation. This vital funding will allow the Council to significantly enhance its Adult English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs by providing laptops for in-person classes and acquiring educational software to support continued learning outside the classroom.
Using AI in Teaching Adults English
We watched a great video recently by Proliteracy about using Artificial Intelligence in tutoring and teaching. Some great resources and tips are available. We will be looking closer into this realm in the near future, but please feel free to watch this video which outlines four FREE resources to make learning English easier for volunteers AND learners!
